Key TakeawaysA holistic resiliency study provides a long‐term perspective on the strengths and vulnerabilities of water supplies and encourages proactive planning.A workshop‐driven approach can tap into the institutional knowledge of staff at all levels.With this approach, utilities can assess their resiliency, understand present and future water supplies, estimate likelihood and consequences of failure, and anticipate demand changes.Decision makers can use a cost–benefit analysis to prioritize solutions and develop implementation timelines based on supply and demand projections.
