Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to investigate the perceptions of final year students in Nigeria's Colleges of Education as to the quality of their academic programmes. The results revealed that the students were satisfied with the quality of their courses, instructors and instruction in their teaching subject departments except those students from the College of Education Warn and the College of Education Benin City. Apart from students at Benin City, all other students were also satisfied with the academic programmes offered in their education department. The study also revealed that there were significant differences in the satisfaction reported by the students in the Colleges of Education in respect of two departmental dimensions.
