Abstract

The purpose of the study was the comparison of productioncosts and profitability of dessert raspberry under cover in Poland in the years 2015-2016. Investment expenditures for the establishment of raspberry plantations under cover were wery high, an average of 337.6 thousand PLN/ha. Total direct costs of raspberry production (including tunnel and plantation depreciation) amounted to an average of 142.00 thousand PLN/ha. The most profitable was the cultivation of raspberry Sokolica on polyethylene mulches (the gross margin amounted to 200.4 thousand.PLN/ha), the least varieties of Laszka, without mulches – only 8.1 thousand. PLN/ha. The research found that the production of raspberries under cover can be profitable.
