Abstract

Getting your organization's board to help with fundraising is one of the most frequently cited challenges encountered by executive directors and their development staff. The crux of the problem is simple—many board members don't feel comfortable asking for money, and they feel unprepared to do so—leading to lackluster results that reinforces their anxiety about it.
