Assembly of triangular copper-pyrazolate building blocks into face-directed Zr-based metal–organic polyhedron via a stepwise synthesis strategy

Abstract

A stepwise synthesis strategy was employed to prepare a face-directed Zr-based metal–organic polyhedron (MOP), termed ZrT-Cu(PyC), which represents a pioneering MOP containing triangular copper-pyrazole building blocks. Additionally, an unprecedented Zr3-pyrazolate precursor has been proposed. Magnetic studies reveal antiferromagnetic behavior in ZrT-Cu(PyC).
