Abstract

The present work aimed to identify the occurrence of moral and/or sexual harassments during the supervised internships in the Biological Sciences Course of a Higher Education Institution in Ceara State. Data collection was based on a semi-structured questionnaire that was applied to 68 students who took this discipline during the period of this research. Given the results, it was found that the female interns suffered the highest rates of harassment cases, in agreement with the largest number of harassers. However, it was shown that male interns also suffered with these offensive behaviors. In this sense, this work intends to encourage more discussions as well as the execution of studies about this theme, addressing harassment inside and outside the university context.
