Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the incidence of symptomatic DVT in patients after meniscal root repair and determine the effectiveness of aspirin versus other anticoagulants in the prevention of DVT in this population. The authors hypothesize that there is no difference in the incidence of DVT following meniscus root repair with when aspirin is used for prophylaxis versus low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) or apixaban.
