Abstract
1. The author has devised a new ultrasonic phaco-emulsifler after a series of fundamental experiments.2. The aspiration method by the ultrasonci phaco-emulsifier was used in about 250 cataract patients, and clinical results of one hundred cases were re-ported.3. The clinical results were almost as good as the conventional cataract surgery.4. The author believes that the main advantages of this aspiration method of senile cataract are simplicity, safety and an early convalescence.
