Abstract

Bark beetles (Ipidae) must be reported and detected throughout the year, observations can be made on the various stages of development and after injury characteristic. Monitoring adults, it can be done by observing colony flight, moving from one place to another, and on tree trunks can identify bugs, looking place to enter in the bark, or using pheromone method, to attract and capture adults.
