Abstract

This article provides a brief overview of water utility operations in the Atlantic Provinces of Canada that inlcude Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, and Prince Edward Island. Specifically, the article mentions two regulatory authorities in Nova Scotia that govern water utility operation, the Nova Scotia Water Authority and the Nova Scotia Board of Commissioners of Public Utilities. Also mentioned are various sources of revenue for the Halifax Public Service Commission.
