Abstract
A simplified cross-calibration procedure used in laser dynamic goniometry is examined, in which the angular displacement increment of the studied angle sensor exceeds its resolution. The obtained method error for M uniform angular increments of the angle sensor is determined by the overall amplitude of the Mth harmonic and its aliquot harmonics of the goniometer systematic error. It is demonstrated experimentally that when the angular displacement increment of an angle sensor is less than 120°, the method error does not exceed 0.01′′.
