Abstract

Abstract This chapter discusses some relationships between language and other aspects of culture and social life among the Ku Waru people of the Western Highlands of Papua New Guinea. This leads to some conclusions about the nature of connections between language and culture in general. The chapter includes a brief introduction to some relevant aspects of Ku Waru culture and language.
