Abstract

Some aspects of the phenomenological theory of space charge phenomena, developed by the authors, are discussed. The theory is based on the local representation of migration and diffusion currents, written in a form able to take into account in a general manner the specificity of conductivity in solid electrolytes. This phenomenological approach enabled us to find out which space charge properties depend upon the structural models for electrolyte and the interface and which are universal for any model.
