Abstract

Abstract The importance of this research is that it focuses on the good aspects and shortcomings of Kurdish literary examples in the Kurdish literary textbooks in the elementary level, particularly, stages 7, 8 and 9. The topics include poetry, stories, literary speeches and more other genres. The intended audiences are third circle, dedicated for teenagers so that dealing with this group age is not an easy task. To what extent do these textbooks psychologically suit this age group? To what extent are the employed words, the language and the techniques of poems as well as the stories artistic and reflect the group’s desires? The study focuses on the importance of poetry in the three main stages of the third episode, in terms of the shape and content of the hair. In the second part, we have discussed prose and its relevant studies written in prose in terms of form and content. Then we conclude some important points including relevant sources, recommendations and suggestions submitted to the Ministry of Education.
