Abstract

The objectives of the present paper were to describe and to illustrate the internal and external morphological aspects of fruits, seeds, and the morphology of germination process and seedlings of the jatoba-do-cerrado (Hymenaea stigonocarpa Mart.ex Hayne.) The results could enhance the knowledge of wood flora from the cerrado, contributing to the interpretation of germination tests in laboratory and seedling production in nursery, as well as for seedlings identification in natural reforestation studies.
