Abstract

A bioethical analysis is presented on a future proposal of a preventive character, created by a growing problem that has developed in the Medical Unit: this situation corresponds to the interaction of the staff that work in it, and which is directly associated with the medical and psychological needs of oncology patients and their families. Thus, it refers to a physician update that affects the doctor-patient relationship binomial. The approach is to determine and analyse what might be the bioethical impact on selecting junior medical staff, by taking into account their personality-based profile, and not just their academic profile. This is because knowing the personality profile of each resident doctor may determine and predict how they will interact with the chronic patient.
