In 1924 Asja Lācis and Walter Benjamin met in Capri and wrote together the short text “Naples” which got famous for its way of pictorial thinking and marked Benjamin’s turn towards the phenomena and politics of actual everyday life. I want to show how “Porosity” becomes the nucleus of the concept of constellation, one of the most important notions in the work of Benjamin and, influenced by him, Adorno.
