Asian American Literary Studies in China

Abstract

The present paper is a survey of Asian American Literature studies in mainland China. Based on the investigation and analysis, the author argues that in the past decade, there have been great achievements made in China, with a lot of essays and books published and theses and Ph. D dissertations written. Asian American literary studies have become so thriving because of the joint efforts of publishing houses, research centers and universities. Although obvious accomplishments have been achieved, there remain many defects in the research.
