Abstract
Uterine myomas represent the most common uterine neoplasm, and they occur in approximately 70% of the women of reproductive age [1]. Although uterine artery embolization (UAE) has been demonstrated to be a safe and effective treatment for women who wish to preserve the uterus [2], growing evidence shows that it has a worse outcome than myomectomy on fertility [3,4]. Among the possible adverse effects of UAE on fertility, intrauterine adhesions formation has been reported [5].
