Abstract

An unusual living foreign body (Ascaris Lumbricoides) in trachea is documented for its rarity. Awareness of the condition is of paramount importance for proper diagnosis and treatment. Severe bouts of paroxysmal cough, dyspnoea or stridor in children, specially of sudden onset, must arouse the suspicion of an endobronchial or endotracheal foreign body.
