Abstract

The journalistic chronicle, as hybrid between the journalism and literature, describes concrete situations of the daily one, but invent with sights to the entertainment and the critical reflection. To invent a history, from the facts of the real life, the writer uses rhetorical figures, over all, the metaphor. The objective of this article is to identify the metaphor, as one of the creative elements that compose the journalistic chronicles of two consecrated writer Brazilians: Carlos Heitor Cony and Luis Fernando Verissimo. As theoretical base, this research uses the technique is the content analysis, specifically, the articulation analysis.
