Abstract
On Tuesday April 16 the Daily Mirror was reborn. The previous masthead, The Mirror, was abandoned and the famous name re-appeared after an absence of four years. Not only that but the paper's editor, Piers Morgan, re-introduced the Cassandra column, once the preserve of its outstandingfounding writer, Bill— Sir William as he became- Connor who died in 1967.
