Abstract
O artigo trata das experiencias iniciais de organização político-sindical de um segmento do novo operariado brasileiro no Sudoeste da Bahia, entre 1998 e 2011. Analisa o processo de constituição de tais ações político- organizativas, seus impasses e resultados durante o período delimitado.
