Abstract

TIMI 0/1 flow (no reflow) and TIMI 2 flow(slow flow) after STEMI intervention is still a vexing problem in patients undergoing PPCI.This is generally caused by microvascular dysfunction resulting from distal embolization,spasm and endothelial injury.A variety of pharmacological agents have been tried with varying degree of success.However there is still no universal consensus for the approach to this phenomenon.
