Abstract
The title compound [systematic name: 2-(2,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5-hydroxy-7-methoxy-6-(3-methyl-1-butenyl)-3-(3-methyl-2-butenyl)-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one dichoromethane hemisolvate], C26H28O6·0.5CH2Cl2, is a flavonoid isolated from Artocarpus altilis. There are two crystallographically independent molecules in the asymmetric unit along with one dichloromethane molecule. In the crystal structure, intermolecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds and weak C—H⋯O interactions link the molecules into ribbons along the a axis; these ribbons are further linked into a three-dimensional network. Weak C—H⋯π interactions are also present in the crystal structure.
