Abstract
This study presents new data on structural and hydraulic characteristics of artificially-layered soils and their dynamics in urban environment. Full-profile soils in large lysimeters and short-profile soils at the experimental plots of Moscow University Soil Station were studied. Short-term changes and long-term evolution of soil matrix and soil hydraulic properties are discussed.
