Abstract

Abstract Artificial intelligence (AI) can be trained to recognize a hallmark of invasive lobular carcinoma—inactivation of the CDH1 gene—and identify tumor features that may be missed with genomic sequencing. In the future, AI could help identify new targets for treatment in invasive lobular carcinoma and other malignancies.
