Abstract

Aspects of short-range planning dominate the strategic decision-making process in management. The capability of managers to carry out their own functions effectively tends to be reduced by the increasing complexity and pressure of this job. Intelligent management systems (IMS) are needed to improve the decision-making process in management. Artificial intelligence and neural networks are very well matched to this need. The decision-making process is described in some detail, to illustrate what kinds of IMS functionalities are required, and thus to present the problem to specialists in artificial intelligence.KeywordsDecision ToolNeural Network ProjectManagement System ResultSystem Dependability AssessmentStrategic Management SystemThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
