Abstract

In this Commentary, Torres (e01514-22) argues that generic plans typically used for academic recruitment fall short to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Programs tailored to colleagues from historically excluded groups are needed to fulfill their specific needs and provide the support network necessary for success.
