Abstract

The author of the article, analyzing the documents accompanying the draft law that introduced the new criterion for the provision of compulsory legal assistance in the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Moldova, provided in paragraph 11) of Article 69, attempts to establish its meaning and clarify the position of the legislator regarding the procedural situations in which it must be applied.
