Abstract

Gordon Williams, MD, is professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, a position he has held since 1981. He received his BA, summa cum laude, from Harvard University and his MD, cum laude, from Harvard Medical School. After serving as an intern at the University of Chicago and in the United States Navy, he returned to Boston where he finished his internal medicine residency at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital.
