Abstract
The long head of the biceps tendon (LHBT) is known to be a principal pain generator in the anterior shoulder and chronic refractory cases may be treated with various surgical techniques. Previously reported short-term data indicated that arthroscopic subdeltoid transfer of the LHBT to the conjoint tendon is an effective intervention for biceps-related pain while improving function and preserving strength. Mid- to long-term data is lacking, however, and would provide valuable insight into the durability of these short-term improvements in functional outcomes
