Abstract

A special issue of the Classical Receptions Journal includes essays on sixteenth- and seventeenth-century literary theory - a period of radical change in the field. It offers a fresh perspective on well-known treatises of that time and introduces previously understudied texts, particularly those produced in the Iberian Americas.
