, Online Figs. 3 to 5, Online Video 1) revealed uniform nar-rowing of the central vein with severe ostial stenosis. Central pulmonary-vein obstruction isknown to trigger progressive medial hypertrophy and intimal fibrosis of the affected venoustree (1). Gradually, venous pressure and waveform arterialize. Currently, we do not know thelong-term clinical implications of venous arterialization due to pulmonary vein ablation. Regu-lar monitoring was advised for this asymptomatic patient.
