Abstract
Arterial stiffness has been linked to development of atrial fibrillation (AF). Little is known regarding its underlying mechanism and relationship to CHADS2 score as a predictor of stroke risk. We assessed the relationship between arterial stiffness, total atrial volumes, and CHADS2 score in patients with paroxysmal AF.
