Abstract

The book reviewed is an investigation about the interstitial zone between performance and philosophy. It is a work that explores action art as a practice that fundamentally attempts to challenge the dominant discourses of the time through a corporeal-thinking and subversive manifesto. One of the author’s objectives is to think about the problems of representation and, from a philosophy of the body, to reflect on the scenic fact and the possibilities of the appearance of the “event”.
