(2018) proves that the expression ?beings? from Heidegger?s definition of art as the setting-itself-to-work of the truth of beings from the essay ?The Origin of the Work of Art? (1936) can have a threefold meaning: beings as beings represented in the work of art (relevant for representational arts), beings as an artwork itself (relevant for both representational and non-representational arts) and, finally, beings as beings as a whole.
