Abstract

The theory of distributions will be used in computing the Arnowitt-Deser-Misner (ADM) energy for a finite simplicial space. A related method will be presented for the computation of the ADM three-momentum. It will be shown that the energy is proportional to the contribution to the integral curvature from the legs on the boundary of the space.
