Abstract

The Selective Service Act and the National Defense Program have focused the attention of educators and counselors on the possibilities of Army life as a career. The occupational opportunities and other advantages offered by the U. S. Army both in time of peace and in time of war are here surveyed by an educator now in active service in the War Department.
