Abstract
This study was carried out to determine the species of armored scale insects (Hemiptera: Coccomorpha: Diaspididae) in park and ornamental plants in Burdur province and districts in 2018 and 2019. A total of 10 species belonging to Diaspididae family were identified the names of Carulaspis juniperi (Bouche), Carulaspis minima (Signoret), Chionaspis salicis (Linnaeus), Lepidosaphes ulmi (Linnaeus), Leucaspis lowi Colvee, Leucaspis pini (Hartig), Leucaspis pusilla Low, Parlatoria oleae (Colvee), Pseudaulacaspis pentagona (Targioni Tozzetti) ve Unaspis euonymi (Comstock). C. juniperi, C. minima and U. euonymi species are the first records for Burdur province.
