Abstract

Due to toxic antisolvents, low material utilization rate, and limitations in scalable fabrication, the spin-coating method is unsuitable for the practical application of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). This work reports an argon-assisted spray-coating process for fabricating mesoporous MAPbI3 PSCs in ambient air. We obtained pinhole-free and uniform perovskite films by optimizing the nucleation and crystallization. The optimal device’s power conversion efficiency (PCE) reached 16.34% with long-time shelf stability.
