Abstract

The return in 1985 to constitutional democracy in Argentina brought with it many social changes, including the beginnings of a lesbigay rights movement. The constitution of the city of Buenos Aires in 1996 institutionalized the rights of sexual preference. This study examines the writings of three Argentine intellectuals whose work on homoeroticism is part of a more favorable climate for the legitimation of homoerotic desire in Argentina, especially in Buenos Aires
