Abstract

An editorial is presented which addresses the author's views public health-related concerns in America as of 2017, and it mentions the election of businessman Donald J. Trump as the president of the U.S., as well as the film High Anxiety and Trump's push to repeal the nation's Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. American federal budget cuts are examined, along with the country's Prevention and Public Health Fund. Reduced enrollment in the Medicaid health insurance program is assessed.
