Abstract

Evidence-Based Answer NSAIDs do not increase the risk of nonunion if used for a short period (up to 8 weeks) of time (SOR: B, cohort studies and small RCTs.) There is an association between long-term (>60 days) NSAID use and nonunion of fractures, but whether this relationship is causal is less clear.
