Abstract

The critical exponents of 3D X–Y system - a random array of Josephson junctions - differ from model calculations but are close to those found for spin glasses. Although in apparent contradiction with Harris's criterion, we ascribe this behaviour to randomness in coupling energies. The model gives very good agreement with the experimental results.
