Abstract
According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), it is estimated that more than lakh deaths have been caused because of fire accidents in India from 2010- 2014. The modern popular trend is to use robots instead of humans to handle fire hazards where it is very much possible to replace humans with robots for fighting the fire. Detection of fire and trying to extinguish the fire is a very dangerous job for the fire extinguisher and it may also risk his life. This project aims for giving technical solution for the fire Accidents. This robot is a mechanical design that is capable of carrying out a complex series of actions automatically. The entire system is programmed using an Arduino UNO board which acts as the brain of the system. Human intervention is becoming less everyday and robots are used widely for the purpose of safety. It will detect the fire by itself and with the action of throwing water, it will extinguish the fire until it finishes detecting the fire. This design of the robot is simple, inexpensive and portable, making it a good candidate for commercial purpose. This would improve the efficiency of fire fighters and would also prevent them from risking human lives.
