Abstract

The aim of the ArchReSci (Architecture-Research-Science) conference series is to present the latest methods, techniques and ways of conducting research not only in the broadly defined discipline of architecture and urban planning, but also in related disciplines: heritage conservation, socio-economic geography and spatial management, but also all the other disciplines, whose adepts deal with the subjects of: the city, architecture and monuments. The conference is methodological in nature and is intended to reflect on new methods and techniques of research, theoretical and experimental exploration, as well as the integration of known methods from different areas of scientific research into the analysis and design of the constructed environment. ArchReSci will provide an opportunity to present the results of analyses and inquiries conducted using new research techniques. An important goal of the meetings is also the exchange of ideas and experiences between the scientific communities in Poland and abroad and the promotion of new ways of conducting research on architecture and urban planning. The organizers are very open to the proposal of issues raised in the speeches and discussions, proposing several thematic areas, related to: quantitative and qualitative research methods, statistical and correlative research, multi-criteria analysis and “research by design”. Also invited to participate in the conference are those involved in: the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in research, programming and design, 3D modeling and scanning, virtual reality (VR), IT tools and other new methods used in architecture and urban planning research.
