Abstract

The article considers the crisis phenomena in the national history of the XX and XXI centuries and their influence on the development of industrial architecture. The formation of the industrial architecture of Kursk associated with the construction of new and reconstruction of existing facilities is shown using the historical material. Historical documents and facts served as a basis for identifying patterns of development of industrial architecture in a crisis. The development of industrial architecture in a modern city is aimed at solving economic and urban planning problems, taking into account the scientific, technical and environmental requirements.
