Abstract

With the development of “Internet+”, remote test and calibration of instruments has brought many new challenging problems while innovating the traditional test and calibration work mode for measurement instruments. A universal remote calibration model is proposed in this paper. Then, the overall architecture design of the remote calibration system is presented. Based on the power remote calibration model and existing services, a remote communication and calibration system between the calibration laboratory and the central laboratory is realized by the TCP/IP protocol, and the remote instruments calibration experiment is completed. Data generated by the power system calibration process (including test data, voice and video data) has different requirements in terms of reliability, security and real-time. And OPNET is adopted to verify the network real-time communication and prove the reliability and communication efficiency of the remote test and calibration system.
