Abstract

Nowadays, The study of Architectural history is a hot topic in both the realm of architecture and history, but these results are based on the traditional data collection methods, which are cold and lifeless. As a new, valued, historical research method, oral history can restore the ‘life’ of architecture from the objective feelings and emotional sustenance out of the audiences. By reference to relevant examples from the relationship between the oral history and the Puppet architecture; the meaning of researching by using; the application strategies of oral history using in the Puppet architecture's researches, etc. to show the further application of academic oral history future value and usefulness.
